About Us

Are you ready for transformation?

We are now in the third year of the Nottingham Creative Business Awards. This year we are extending the coverage to the whole of Nottinghamshire. With so much talent and so much going on in the City and beyond into the County, it seemed obvious to do so.

The first year’s celebrations were fabulous. Last year, the standard was even higher. We celebrated some truly great talent. We began the process of accepting and showing the truth: that Nottinghamshire has some of the best creatives in the country (and therefore the world) working and living here, people from many disciplines.

This year, well, the world has changed, dramatically. We have to think and work in new ways. Suddenly new opportunity is everywhere. As creative people running creative businesses, we really can make a difference to the economy of our city as well as our own organisations. Our customers want to trust that we care, that we are thinking and working in innovative ways. It is our job to help them to find positive ways to thrive in this new economic landscape.

There is an undercurrent in Nottinghamshire, a building of excitement and sense of coming out of hibernation. There are pockets of really interesting activity. There are people getting together to form interesting alliances that are already developing into new enterprise. This is perhaps the most exciting year in which to be contenders as well as participants in the Nottingham Creative Business Awards.

Here’s to an amazing, transformative year for us all.
