The Young Creative Awards
The Young Creative Awards was launched to attract up and coming talent in the city and put young people on the creative map.
The awards are open to two age groups 14-18 years and 19 - 22 year olds
The awards is an opportunity to become involved in a citywide creative competition with the possibility of winning industry prizes such as the opportunity to spend a day in a film studio or shadowing a crew on location. The aspiration is that businesses who win the Nottingham Creative Business Awards would be willing to give support and mentoring opportunities to the Young Creative Award winners. The catagories for the Young Creative Awards 2010 have yet to be announced but are likely to include film, photography, craft, product design and architecture.
