Architecture, Urban & Interior Design
A design of excellence and ambition for a building, exterior or interior space by registered architects, landscape designers, sculptures, etc originated in Nottinghamshire.
Digital Media (including web design, videogame design, etc)
Demonstrating innovative use of digital media and technology in a creative context, this is both accessible and functional and has originated in Nottinghamshire.
Music & Performing Arts (including Theatre, Live Art & Dance)
Dance/theatre companies, bands, artistes, DJs, musicians and individual performers who have made a significant impact upon the music and performing arts scene locally, national; and/or internationally based in Nottinghamshire.
Product Design
Exceptional, exemplary and original work in the design of consumer goods, technology or home and office furnishings, conceived and/or manufactured in Nottinghamshire.
Photography
A commercial photographic project by a business based in Nottinghamshire.
Film & TV
Film, broadcast & non-broadcast programmes of the highest quality that are non-genre specific and created by a company based in Nottinghamshire.
Writing & Publishing
An original work of fiction for stage, film, television or publication or dissemination of creative writing through publication - books, magazines, and/or web by a writer or publisher in Nottinghamshire.
Crafts (including glass, ceramics, textiles, etc)
Success in a proven market, by a sole trader or a company based in Nottinghamshire.
Visual Arts
Galleries, collectives, companies or individual artists who have made a significant impact upon the Visual Arts scene locally, nationally and/or internationally and based in Nottinghamshire.
Graphics & Advertising
A graphic work project or national advertising campaign originated in Nottinghamshire that has met the clients’ brief and successfully delivered its message.
Fashion & Textiles
Fashion company, individual designer or textile manufacturer who has made a significant impact upon the fashion scene nationally and/or internationally based in Nottinghamshire.
The Nottinghamshire Creative Business of the Year
One of the winners of the 11 Nottinghamshire Creative Business Awards will also be voted the Nottinghamshire Creative Business of the Year.
This huge accolade will be voted by our esteemed judging panel and will be based on the overall impression of the business and its contribution to Nottinghamshire’s creative industry landscape.
